We divide the chemical business roughly into the following three fields, tricalcium phosphate, light calcium carbonate and calcium carbide. First of all, tricalcium phosphate is one of the most indispensable ingredients in mixed feed for domestic livestock. We use inorganic phosphorus ore as the raw material for tricalcium phosphate. Thus tricalcium phosphate contributes to offer healthy and good quality food to each home. Second, we manufacture precipitated calcium carbonate using limestone as a raw material. Light calcium carbonate is utilized to products familiar with us. For example, light calcium carbonate is used as a filler for the processing of rubber and plastic products, filling materials in paper, food additives, and so on. Finally, we offer material products such as carbide and quicklime. Carbide is a raw material of dissolution acetylene gas, and the desulfurizer agent of a steel manufacture, and a cast iron. Kochi has been famous in Japan as a limestone-producing area since ancient times. We are proud of the contribution to Kochi Prefecture through the chemical business.
